What To Do In Boston In March
Now that March is here, you’ve probably noticed that the weather in Boston is getting much nicer. Now that the snow is melting and the days are getting longer, it’s more enjoyable to spend time out in the city. Celebrate the fact that spring is on the way by attending one of these Boston events:
Saint Patrick’s Day Parade
Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland and we love to celebrate Irish culture on the day that is dedicated to him. Boston is a city that comes alive on Saint Patrick’s Day and there continues to be a large population of people of Irish descent in the city. Boston’s parade features Irish and American pipe and drum bands as well as colorful floats, military units, and brass marching bands. The Saint Patrick’s Day Parade
is held annually in South Boston and will begin at 1 PM on March 18, 2018. This is one Saint Patrick’s Day event you won’t want to miss!
Boston Flower and Garden Show
Running from March 14 – 18, 2018 at the Seaport World Trade Center, the Boston Flower and Garden Show
is a must-see for anyone with a green thumb or anyone looking to get into gardening. You can discover ideas for your indoor and/or outdoor garden, learn about different flowers, and learn how to keep your garden thriving. Lectures and demos will teach you things such as how to grow lavender, herbs, and roses, how to create a small kitchen garden, arrange flowers, grow a veggie garden, and so much more. Don’t forget to check out the marketplace where you can stock up on everything you need to make your garden its best this year.
Dine Out Boston

Boston has allowed people to sample restaurants at special prices. This is the perfect event for anyone who wants to see what the Boston food scene has to offer, but might not know where to begin. Boston Underground Film Festival
If you’re a film buff, the Boston Underground Film Festival
might be for you. Since 1999 this film festival has showcased independent, experimental, and provocative films. If you’re into bizarre, horror, dark comedy, cult, or short films, or just want to experience something that isn’t mainstream, you can do exactly that at BUFF.
